Volunteering is my passion! I love giving back to the community, meeting new people, and making meaningful connections. Whether I’m leading Design Thinking workshops, planting in community gardens, sorting clothes and books, or making sensory mats for senior citizens, every experience enriches my life and helps me grow.
Volunteering with Gratitude
City of Refuge (Atlanta)
Design Thinking Workshop for the Youth AI Navigator Internship Program with a brilliant group of scholars.
We explored Design Thinking and engaged in a design sprint. I truly admired their passion for social justice, safety, family, and community advancement. I was inspired and impressed by their creative solutions, effortless collaboration. and their knowledge, skills, and use of design, technology, and AI.
“I absolutely love working with young people because they have such unmatched energy, vibrancy, and creative ideas.”
SMASH (Atlanta)

High school students dive into a dynamic day where creativity and tech collide. Collaborate with peers and industry mentors to tackle real world challenges. Transform their ideas into impactful solutions that drive positive social change.
“It was an absolute pleasure to serve as a mentor, to lead and learn from the scholars, meet other mentors, and meet LinkedIn connections in person.”

North Gwinnett CO-OP
Georgia State alumni, faculty, staff and students join together for a service project at North Gwinnett Co-Op. In its 11th year, the GSU Cares Service Projects are hosted by the Alumni Association and the Office of Civic Engagement. This is a valued tradition during which alumni, students, and friends of Georgia State gather to give back to our communities.
Volunteers performed a variety of roles during an active Saturday morning at the Co-op.
“I learned so much about how the North Gwinnett Coop services so many families. I am happy to have had the opportunity to volunteer at this location and will gladly do it again.”
PAWS for a CAUSE
Volunteering with PAWS for a Cause at GSU has been a heartwarming journey. This initiative allows me to connect with fellow GSU alumni and students, and give back to the institution that has given me so much. Whether it's through community service projects or supporting local causes, every moment spent here is rewarding.
